S925NP is a master alloy for 925‰ silver jewelry, designed for mechanical working. This formulation can be alloyed from title 925‰ to title 935‰.
S925NP is suitable for continuous casting and for ingot casting of semi-finished items such as wire, sheet. The alloy is suitable only in open melting systems due the high content of deoxidizers.
The main processes in which S925NP can be used are massive chain, stamping, hand production.
The hardness of 925‰ silver alloyed with S925NP can be increased by means of a heat treatment. Please refer to the technical chart for information on the correct age-hardening procedure.
